Coyote

This passed weekend my younger brother had his last soccer tournament of the spring, so we had to wake up at 5 AM. We left the house around 6 AM, which is when the sun rises over here. We live on dirt roads, so we have to drive about 5 minutes to get to a paved road. You can imagine my reaction to my older brother who was driving, I immediately told him to stop the car.

The first thing that popped into my mind is that the coyote looks really healthy. Because every time before, they haven't looked too well. I think it is a female, but I am not positive. She only let me photograph her for less than 20 seconds!! And that resulted in only 5 shots, with this being the only decent one. I am really grateful she even let me photograph her because I thought she was going to run off into the bushes. All I can say is, 20 seconds is enough if you have a camera with you!

P.S. Morning light is absolutely amazing.
